Website privacy, stated plainly.
This notice covers compsia.com. It explains what the public site stores, when analytics begin and how attribution may continue to Cal.com or the separate Event Compsia practice.
Public website processing01
- Before consent
- PostHog analytics do not start unless you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser under
compsia_analytics_consent. The site remains available if you decline. - After consent
- We use PostHog’s EU service to measure page visits, navigation and calls to action. Autocapture and session recording are disabled. The site does not call PostHog’s identify function or intentionally send names, email addresses, form text or client documents.
- Attribution
- After consent, standard UTM values and the landing path may be held for the browser session and attached to anonymous events or links to event.compsia.com. We do not install Google Ads, retargeting or advertising pixels.
- Data minimization
- The analytics endpoint accepts a fixed list of event names and properties. Unsupported fields are discarded, accepted text values are length-limited, and analytics events use an anonymous browser-session identifier rather than a customer or contact profile.
- Session storage
- Attribution and the anonymous session identifier are stored in session storage for the current browser session. Declining analytics removes those session values. The consent choice remains in local storage so the site can honor it on a later visit.
- Ordinary hosting requests
- Like other websites, the hosting and delivery services necessarily receive request information required to return a page, such as the requested URL, IP address and browser headers. The optional analytics choice described here controls the additional measurement path.
- External services
- When you follow a link to event.compsia.com or Cal.com, the destination applies its own privacy terms. Google-hosted font files may receive ordinary web-request information such as IP address and browser headers.
- Your choices
- You may decline analytics or reopen preferences from the footer. You can also clear site data in your browser.
- Contact
- For an access, correction, deletion or other privacy request, email hello@compsia.com. Do not send client-confidential or sensitive operational data by email.
